Optimizing ammonia emissions
Saport® feed additive consists of saponins obtained from the Yucca Schidigera plant. Saponin is the collective term for steroidal sapogenin ring molecules plus the attached carbohydrate chains. These functional nutrients support immunocompetence and gut integrity for optimal animal performance. It also has a positive effect on fecal moisture content and ammonia emissions.
Total Steroidal Sapogenin (TSS) content is the most reliable indicator of the biological activity and efficacy of Yucca Schidigera products. Saport® feed additive contains high level of TSS—26,000 ppm. This is regularly tested and compared to industry benchmarks to ensure consistency in every bag.
